Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Letters（AOSL）创刊于2008年，由中科院大气物理研究所和中国气象学会主办，科学出版社和国际出版商Taylor & Francis（2016年起）出版，一直致力于快速发表大气科学和物理海洋学高质量学术论文成果。

　　从第一期发表已走过10年，AOSL继续扩大其科学深度和范围。已经发表过关于气候变率和可预测性，气候变化，ENSO，印度洋航次和其他主题的高影响力专刊，多篇研究论文引起了广泛的关注并被高度引用。

　　AOSL也努力适应正在飞速发展的学术出版时代。2013年，AOSL推出了第一个社交媒体活动，现在在Twitter，新浪微博，微信，Eurekalert！上都有信息发布。此外，2016年，AOSL将传统订阅出版改为开放获取出版，并增加了诸如引用链接和先进的在线发布PDF和HTML出版物。自2015年以来，每篇文章都有中文摘要，最近也增加了图形摘要。我们在2017年推出了新的“Progress and Views”栏目，涵盖最新的研究亮点，项目报告和旧数据更新。另外，重要的是，AOSL现在已被ESCI和DOAJ收录。
