2021年2月3日,中国科学院大气物理研究所主办英文期刊Advances in Atmospheric Sciences(AAS)编辑部组织召开2020年度编委会会议。会议由AAS主编曹军骥主持,以“会场+远程”的方式召开。主编穆穆院士开场致辞,海外主编Ming Xue(薛明)教授作AAS工作报告。来自中国、美国、日本、韩国、德国的近70名编委参加了这次会议。
薛明在工作报告中介绍了AAS期刊发展状况、同行评议过程、出版流程及周期、稿件类型、传播工作和作者服务等。薛主编还介绍了AAS近两年的收稿和发稿情况,并对期刊未来的发展提出了目标。六位副主编Mike Davey、Jun Li,吕建华、Yuhang Wang、Craig Schwartz、Jin-YiYu分别汇报了初筛工作的体会和建议。
穆穆揭晓了AAS2021年优秀编委、AAS2021年专刊组织奖、AAS2021年优秀审稿人、AAS2021年优秀原创论文、AAS2021年优秀综述、AAS2021年优秀新闻与观点类文章和AAS2021数据描述类文章(详见附录),向各位编委、作者和编辑部的工作表示感谢。
曹军骥在总结发言中充分认可AAS近年来的发展和编辑部的工作,也对上一届编委会的工作表示感谢和肯定。
随着2020年AAS投稿量激增,AAS的发展也面临许多新的问题。在讨论环节,编委们热烈发言,围绕进一步优化稿源、做好审稿工作等问题展开了热烈讨论,并就AAS的重新定位、争取优质国际稿源和选题策划进行了充分研讨。 与会编委表示,将继续认真履行编委职责,进一步积极参与、全力支持AAS工作。
