Nature Publishing Group welcomes top-quality research from scientists around the world. However, processes at our journals are often not well understood within the scientific community. The talk will provide a brief outline of the content published in Nature Geoscience. It will discuss alternative options for publication at Nature Publishing Group, and will cover the relationships between the various journals. Finally, the editorial process – including editorial selection of manuscripts and the peer review process – will be explained. A discussion session at the end of the talk will give the audience an opportunity to raise any questions.
