　　Methods and algorithms for total content and vertical profiles retrieval of minor atmospheric constituents from satellite and ground-based observations of direct and scattered solar radiation in UV and visible and IR regions of spectra.

　　Observations of gases, aerosols and solar radiation in different parts of the globe and from different platforms: orbital stations, satellites, aircrafts, ships, ground-based stations and field experiments.

　　Spatial and temporal analysis of data and numerical photochemical modeling.

　　Investigation of formation of toxic organic compounds in the atmosphere its impact on vegetation and climate system.

　　Working out of the atmospheric chemical composition observing system for using at Russian Atmospheric Watch.

　　Carrying out the Transcontinental Observations Into the Chemistry of the Atmosphere Project (TROICA) and construction of the railroad mobile laboratory “TROICA”.
